These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Molly’s Home and Pet’s Website, located at mollyshomeandpet.com.au, and the terms and conditions of Molly’s Home and Pet as a business.
By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Molly’s Home and Pet if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
Links to our terms of service will be provided before commencement of any new service. By continuing your service with Molly’s Home and Pet we assume you accepted these terms of service.

Pricing
Our pricing is based on one of two methods.
- Visual inspection
During a visual inspection, we may give a price based on the condition we can view that day. If this condition changes or additional add-ons are required, we may need to adjust the price.
- Quote provided without inspection
When providing an online quote (without inspection) we are using the information that is provided to us to generate a price based on the size of the area, or house.
This price does not account for the house condition which may require additional sorting, excessive cleaning, access issues to the property or any additional changes that would prevent or delay our staff.
Price adjustments might need to occur if additional time is needed, or delays occur.
Payments
Payments are to be made by the following methods.
- Eftpos (surcharge of 1.4%)
- Invoice – Direct Deposit
- Invoice – Online Payments (surcharge of 1.8%)
Payments can be made by invoice after service.
Payment is required within 48 hours after service or late fee may apply.
All pet sitting must be paid prior to the first visit date (after the free meet and greet). If no payment is received (or evidence is provided) we will cancel this service.
We do not accept cash.
Late Payment
Domestic invoices are to be paid within 5 days from invoice date.
Any payment after this time will incur a $15 late payment fee every 7 days after the invoice date.
All cleaning will be cancelled until the existing payment is made.
Any payment that is outstanding over 30 days will incur an additional $50 fee and debt will be taken to recovery.
We are not responsible for any additional fees resulting from our 3rd party recovery agency that may be added.
Deposits
For these service
- Bond Cleaning
A deposit of $50 will need to be paid to hold a service date and time.
If deposit payment isn’t made within 48 hours we may cancel this appointment.
Normal cancellation and rescheduling fee apply.
Refunds
Refunds will not be given for any cleaning. If not satisfied, we would like the opportunity to rectify this providing this is not against our other terms for that service.
Proof will need to be supplied within 12 hours after the completion of cleaning.
Any refund that is approved for security will be returned to your original purchase method. Only if this method is unsuccessful will we arrange payment back to another account under the client’s name.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Sometimes cancellation or rescheduling needs to happen and we understand that. We do our best to accommodate these however this can make it hard to find a replacement booking and can lead to loss of wages for our staff and business income. Because of this frequent cancellations or rescheduling may have their service with Molly’s Home and Pet ended.
- Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours before service will incur a $50 fee for late notice.
- Cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours before service will incur a $25 fee for late notice.
- Cancellation or rescheduling over 48 hours will require no fee and any money paid in advance will receive a full refund or payment credited to the next cleaning.
If we need to cancel or reschedule we will advise you as soon as possible, and offer a full refund (if paid in advance) or to book a new time or date.
Photos
We may take photos during our cleaning process.
These photos may be used for advertising or social media. We do not take photos that could identify or show personal information.
If you would like your pictures taken down please contact us.
Access – Keys and codes
Access codes are saved securely and only accessible by your cleaner or our admin.
Any key provided will be kept securely with our cleaner or office with a tag with a client ID.
If any key is lost, we will advise as soon as possible and offer a credit of $20 to replace the key.
Molly’s Home and Pet are not responsible for the cost of changing locks nor are we responsible for any key lost that are left out for cleaners in e.g. pot plants, power boxes, mailboxes etc.
Appointment Times
Our staff will do our best to keep our time. However, delays can occur outside of our control, but we will try to keep you updated on changes to time.
If we arrive at your property and we cannot get access, we will try to contact you using the contact details provided.
If unsuccessful after 15 mins our cleaner will have to leave to go to the next job. A fee of $40 for late notice cancellation will apply.
If our cleaners have to wait for access, we may not be able to extend your time, and areas or tasks might need to be missed to complete the cleaning on time to not affect other scheduled clients.
Damages
Our staff are instructed to take photos of any existing damages during their cleaning.
We also only use safe neutral products for the majority of our cleaning and our staff are trained in their use.
While cleaning it is still possible for accidental damages to occur.
Our staff will inform you of any damage however if something was missed, please contact us with photos within 24 hours. All incidents will be investigated.
General House Cleaning
The term General House Cleaning is a regular maintenance cleaning that is designed to help keep your house clean to prevent the build-up of dirt, limescale and germs.
Notice should be given of 48 hrs of any additional cleaning required, otherwise, we may refuse any additional cleaning that would extend our time causing conflicts with scheduling.
What is covered
- We provide a checklist that lists what areas and items we clean during a General House Cleaning.
- Additional items can be added from a list of items of services.
What is not included
- This does not include deep cleaning of areas. Separate packages are available that cover many different deep cleaning solutions. Our staff do not carry supplies needed to complete deep cleaning unless specified.
- Additional tasks not listed on our checklist, unless agreed upon before the cleaning date.
- Moving heavy furniture.
- Cleaning full sinks, laundry basins and bathtubs where time would need to be taken to remove all items.
- Cleaning areas that are behind or difficult to get to. We will make our best effort but if this area is blocked, difficult to reach or behind furniture cleaning will not be possible.
- Although we love pets, our General Cleaning does not clean up pet toilet waste of any kind. Any affected area will be left to be cleaned by the owner. It is not sanitary or safe to use our cleaning equipment on it, and it causes damage. We request that you remove all puppy pads or litter trays that are not contained; otherwise, these areas will be avoided.
Spring Cleaning
What is covered
- A spring cleaning includes what is listed on our checklist only, unless otherwise specified at the time of quote. If adjustments are to be made to what you would like cleaned, we may require a price increase. Notice should be given of 48 hrs of any additional cleaning required, otherwise, we may refuse any additional cleaning that would extend our time causing conflicts with scheduling.
What is not included
- Additional tasks not listed on our checklist, unless agreed upon before the cleaning date.
- Moving heavy furniture, and ornaments or cleaning inside of cabinetry.
- Although we love pets, our Spring Cleaning does not clean up pet toilet waste. Any affected area will be left to be cleaned by the owner. It is not sanitary or safe to use our cleaning equipment on it, and it causes damage. We request that you remove all puppy pads or litter trays that are not contained; otherwise, these areas will be avoided.

Deep Bathroom Cleaning
This is the most intense cleaning that we provide for bathrooms. Our cleaning uses commercial-grade chemicals and products to help restore your bathroom back to a clean state.
This service does not guarantee the complete removal of soap scum, calcium deposits and lime scale.
Our cleaners will provide the best clean possible however sometimes stains and buildup can cause irreversible damage that cannot be removed.
What is covered
- Everything that is listed on our checklist for that service.
What is not included
- Anything not listed on our checklist.
- Wall Cleaning.
- Ceiling Cleaning.
- Removal of glass cancer. This damage is uncleanable.
- Removal of mould from silicon. This damage is uncleanable
- Removal of staining in grout lines from excessive mould growth. Mould can be treated but may leave stains on the affected grout area.
Oven Cleaning
This is a deep cleaning of your oven. Our oven cleaning takes apart the oven to clean built-up areas
What is covered
- Everything that is normally inside of a standard oven like wire racks, and 1 x baking tray. Additional items can be added
- Disassemble oven components.
- Wire racks
- Splash shields
- Baking tray
- Front oven door (if non-sealed unit)
What is not included
- Replacing light/s. Light replacement can be completed on the day of cleaning for extra per light.
- Removal of heating elements, fans or motors.
Window Cleaning
We offer multiple levels of cleaning. Quotes can include tracks, screen cleaning, and removal of bug or bird nests.
What is covered
- A quote will be provided which will outline what areas are provided.
- A normal service will include cleaning the window or door and its frame.
What is not included
- Anything not listed on the quote.
- Cleaning any area that might be considered dangerous or potential to cause harm or damage.
- Moving heavy furniture.
- Removal of paint, stickers or other items (unless quoted)
- Removal of wasp nest or bird nest (unless quoted)
- Cleaning any window where pests and animals may cause harm to the cleaner.
Bond Cleaning
Bond cleaning is an intensive cleaning of an entire house.
These cleans are very time and labour-intensive.
Before beginning any cleaning, photos will be taken of all available areas and damages.
We will also take photos after cleaning as proof of condition upon leaving.
Although our cleaners complete extensive cleaning sometimes spots can be missed which is why we offer 1 return visit to rectify any cleaning issues. However, no return cleaning will be provided if other trades or tenants have accessed the property after cleaning completion.
If real estate is within 20 mins of property we will collect and return keys. Otherwise, it is up to the tenant to provide access for any return cleaning.
What is covered
- All internal cleaning and external window cleaning
- After cleaning is complete, we offer 1 return visit within 7 days to rectify any cleaning outlined in an exit report.
- We also provide a report detailing any additional cleaning completed to return to the real estate.
What is not included
- Any external cleaning like patio, entry, etc.
- Removal of stickers, hooks or any other adhesive. These can cause damage on removal and are to be removed before cleaning otherwise they will be left intact.
- Any excessive cleaning not outlined before the quote. This can include paint, oil, staining on walls, or anything that would cause additional time or products to be cleaned.
- Any cleaning to the ceiling. This will require an additional cost.
- Repair or fixing of any existing damage.
- No return visits will be offered if:
- Other trades have accessed the property before the exit report.
- Tenants have returned to remove additional property, clean outside areas (that require internal access) or conduct repairs prior to exit report.
- It has been 7 days since cleaning.
- Proof of the item under question can be shown by a photo.
- Re-cleaning of any area previously shown to be cleaned. Cleaning can be provided but this will be completed at a $65 per hour (calculated by estimate rounding up to the nearest 15min block), payable before starting.
Commercial Cleaning
Commercial cleaning is a maintenance cleaning of your commercial space.
We can cover cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, office areas, storage areas and work floors.
We can also supply or replenish consumables if required for a fee.
Invoices will be issued after cleaning has occurred with payment terms of 7, 14 or 30 days.
After-hours work can be completed if requested.
What is covered
- Anything that is listed in our quote. These will outline areas and duties
What is not included
- Anything that is not listed in our quote.
- Deposal of rubbish off-site. Bins must be provided on-site for us to dispose of these items correctly.
- Biohazard or unsanitary waste that is not outlined in quote.
Pet Sitting
Pet sitting is something we provide as a labour of love.
Prices account for travel, and time taken at each pet sit visit.
What is covered
- Visits normally take between 15 minutes to 30 minutes each.
- Cleaning of areas i.e. removing pet waste (if tools are provided)
- Feed each pet with food that is provided
- Refill water
- Spend time with, play or keep company, depending on the pet.
- Administer medication – if required
What is not included
- Removal of any pet waste off the property. Bins must be provided.
- Cleaning of existing pet waste before first pet sit.
- Supplying food or water (an additional extra fee can be added plus the cost of the product)
